Carol Schiller, Founder

Carol Schiller has nearly 20 years experience in marketing, including a decade spent in marketing, branding and developing international business partnerships for well-known consumer brands including L.L.Bean, Kenneth Cole, Ralph Lauren, and Anne Klein. Her experience includes nearly 5 years spent living in Japan and Asia and working with American brands building their presence in that region.

Originally from the East Coast, Carol grew up in Connecticut and lived in Manhattan for many years, a place she still calls home. After moving to Seattle over a decade ago, Carol turned her background as a superb copywriter and storyteller into a springboard to the world of digital, content and social marketing. As Social Media Director at Cozi for several years she developed and ran award-winning online marketing and innovative word of mouth and influencer campaigns.

In addition to running Rumble, Carol currently teaches at the University of Washington Graduate School of Communication. Her classes cover content and social media strategy, as well as marketing copywriting and corporate storytelling.

A frequently sought-after speaker in the social media circuit, Carol has spoken at the Mom 2.0 Summit, EVO Conference, Bloggy Boot Camp, Blogalicious, the Seattle Social Media Club and the iBlog Conference, among others.

When not developing fantastic stories and strategies for her clients, Carol can usually be found chasing after her three school-aged kids, or training for her next triathlon, sometimes at the same time.

Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Barnard College, and a Masters Degree from Columbia University.

Aimee Giese has been a graphic designer, web developer, social media strategist and photographer for over 20 years. For nearly a decade, she was the co-owner of a health education multimedia development firm that focused on cancer prevention. In 2011, Aimee sold her half of Klein Buendel, and joined Rumble. During her tenure, Klein Buendel was regularly ranked among the top women-owned and top privately-owned companies in Colorado. In 2010, the company was noted as one of the 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America by Inc. Magazine. She started her career as the Art Director for a major global convenience store chain with over 2,000 locations in the United States.

Aimee’s popular lifestyle blog, Greeblehaus, shares stories of her family – plus travel, music, tech, photography and being up way too late at night with very little sleep. She has been a featured speaker on a variety of topics including web development, graphic design and social media at conferences such as BlogHer, WordCamp, PBS Annual Meeting, Blissdom, Type A Summit, and Alt Summit.

She graduated from Flagler College in 1991 with a graphic design major + photography minor, and started working in web development in 1998.

Dana Lewis is an art director and senior graphic designer with over 16 years of experience. Working for advertising and marketing agencies, in-house creative departments and start-ups, she has delivered successful and results-proven campaigns for some awesome brands. Her diverse background allows her to work with teams to deliver thoughtful and brand conscious concepts under the tightest of deadlines. Dana is incredibly strategy-minded and a well-seasoned presenter.

Dana’s specialties include: online marketing campaigns (email, mobile, microsites, landing pages, e-books, banners, websites), integrated direct marketing, print advertising, brand development, presentation materials and all realms of collateral and TV/DRTV.
